TLDR: We’re just a couple of guys who have a love for Las Vegas, making videos, & saving money.

The full story is a bit more involved, however.

Before we started creating content and huntin’ deals, we found ourselves bogged down under the weight of corporate America.

Jake sold enterprise software (well… tried to at least…), while Ike crunched the numbers on multifamily real estate deals (that’s a fancy way to say apartment investments).

While corporate life had its perks, we both decided to rip the band-aid off and instead chase something we’re mutually passionate about: Vegas.

See, we were raised by folks who had shared their love for Las Vegas with us.

Our grandparents made places like Sands, Dunes, Caesars Palace, and IP a second home, and I vividly recall using slot token buckets to make sandcastles. I’ll never forgive myself for donating my grandma’s matchbook collection… This included countless books from vintage Las Vegas properties.

We enjoy their pictures from a version of Las Vegas we never had the chance to experience to this day.

While the craps table is our preferred habitat, our YouTube channel “Stalking the Strip” and travel blog “Las Vegas Then and Now” have been an impetus for us to experience as many hotels, attractions, restaurants, and natural attractions in and around Las Vegas as possible with the intent of sharing those experiences with you all.

Now, it’s time for our next chapter, the Slash’d Pass, which, in partnership with food & drink outlets up and down the Strip, will bring members VALUE.
